Positions Available
Wing Head – Enterprise Systems Development
Reporting to: Unit Head – Allied Development (VP/SVP)
Educational/Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.
- Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in IT, including at least 4 years in Applications Software Development and 1 year as a Team Lead, preferably in a banking environment.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Excellent programming and development knowledge in Dot Net/C#, Visual Studio Development, Java/JavaScript, Oracle Development, WebLogic, Back-end Development, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Jobs.
- Understanding of Web API/SOAP and Windows Services.
- Familiarity with system design and architecture.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies and software changes related to ongoing and future projects.
- Plan and document technical specifications for system designs.
- Design, build, and configure applications to meet business requirements.
- Develop, test, debug, document, and maintain software applications.
- Provide application support for software in production.
- Write and review technical specifications and other documentation.
- Develop software test plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Mentor junior team members, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Optimize performance to minimize bottlenecks and improve efficiency and scalability.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Unit Head – Enterprise Development (VP/SVP)
Reporting to: Wing Head – Enterprise Systems Development
Educational/Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.
- Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in IT, including at least 4 years in Applications Software Development and 1 year as a Team Lead, preferably in a banking environment.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Thorough understanding and practice of secure software development life cycle.
- Experience in development using Visual Studio dot net, Java, Python, Oracle.
- Understanding of Web API/SOAP and Windows Services.
- Knowledge of information security components.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Review and debug software applications to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Conduct weekly meetings with stakeholders to discuss new initiatives.
- Analyze and resolve issues in production environments.
- Lead the design, testing, and integration of application components.
- Oversee the development and implementation of software test plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Optimize system performance to reduce bottlenecks and enhance efficiency.
- Recommend strategies for developing new software solutions or reusing existing code.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
IT Software Developer – Enterprise (AVP/VP)
Reporting to: Unit Head – Allied Development / Unit Head – Allied Interfaces Development / Senior IT Software Developer – Enterprise / Unit Head – Enterprise Development
Educational/Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.
- Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in IT, including at least 3 years in Applications Software Development, preferably in a banking environment.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Knowledge of Dot Net/C#, Visual Studio Development.
- Understanding of development in Java/JavaScript or any other platform.
- Expertise in Oracle Development, WebLogic, Back-end Development, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Jobs.
- Ability to develop and manage tasks on Web API/SOAP/Windows Services.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into product design.
- Develop program logic for new applications or modify existing applications.
- Provide application support for software in production.
- Test and integrate application components.
- Write technical documentation.
- Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented.
- Optimize performance to minimize bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Application Process
Only shortlisted candidates meeting the above eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interviews. Employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, with the possibility of renewal at the management’s discretion. Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits per the Bank’s policy/rules.
