Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• For the position of Director (BPS-21):
  • Ph.D. in all sub-fields of Psychology/Applied Psychology.
  • Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized institution, or relevant professional experience.
  • At least 15 research publications, with 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals.
• For the position of Director (BPS-20):
  • Ph.D. in Gender Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Political Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Pakistan Studies, Economics, or other relevant fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized institution, or relevant professional experience.
  • At least 10 research publications, with 4 publications in the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals.

Application Process and Criteria

• The upper age limit is 55 years, with a relaxation of two years upon recommendation of the Selection Board.
• Selection criteria will be based on HEC guidelines for the positions of Professor and Associate Professor.
• Candidates must submit six copies of their applications along with attested documents and a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2000/- drawn in favor of the Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University.
• Application forms can be obtained from the university’s website or the office of the Deputy Registrar (Establishment).
• Applicants currently employed in Government/Semi-Government organizations must apply through proper channels and provide service certificates.
• The university reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts and reject any application without assigning any reason.
