Career Opportunities at Special Security Unit (SSU), Sindh Police

The Special Security Unit (SSU) of Sindh Police is inviting applications from qualified and dedicated individuals to fill vacancies for Junior Clerk and Electrician positions. These opportunities are open to candidates from Sindh Province who are ready to contribute to the esteemed SSU, Pakistan’s first and only ISO Certified Police Organization.

Available Positions and Qualifications

Junior Clerk (BPS-11)

• Number of Vacancies: 34
• Qualification:
  • Intermediate from a recognized Board
  • Certificate in MS Office from a recognized institute
  • Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English
• Age Limit: 18-28 years

Electrician (BPS-06)

• Number of Vacancies: 11
• Qualification:
  • Matriculation from a recognized Board
  • Professional certificate from any institute registered by the Technical Board
• Age Limit: 18-28 years

Important Information for Applicants

1. Online Registration: Complete the application form on the STS portal.
2. Documentation: Upload CNIC, Domicile, PRC (Form-D), recent photograph, and relevant educational certificates (Intermediate mark sheet/Pacca Certificate for Junior Clerk and Matric certificate for Electrician).
3. Fee Submission: Download the system-generated challan of Rs. 1500 and deposit it in any ABL Bank Ltd. branch.
4. Affidavit: Submit an affidavit stating non-involvement in any FIR. Submission of a false affidavit will result in disqualification and legal action.

Special Quotas and Age Relaxation

• Urban and Rural Quota: 40% quota for urban areas and 60% for rural areas as per Government of Sindh policy.
• Women Quota: 15%
• Disable Quota: 5% (only for Junior Clerk)
• Age Relaxation: Up to 15 years in the upper age limit as per Sindh Government’s Notification No. SOII (SG&ACD)5-64/2011 dated 27-07-2020.

Selection Process

• Written Test: Candidates who qualify will proceed to the typing test for Junior Clerk.
• Skill Test/Interview: Candidates who pass the psychological test will be interviewed and tested for their skills.
• Final Selection: Additional 15 marks will be awarded to children of retired or serving Sindh Police employees who meet all stages of the recruitment process.

• Test and Interview Schedule: Dates, times, and venues will be communicated via online call letters, SMS, and the STS website. Regularly check the portal for updates.

General Notes

• Incomplete Applications: Will not be entertained.
• Government Employees: Eligible candidates can apply through proper channels.
• No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for tests or interviews.
• Vacancy Changes: SSU reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
