Eligibility Criteria:
General Information
- Nationality: Must be a male citizen of Pakistan.
- Marital Status: Unmarried.
- Age Limit: 21 to 23 years as of April 25, 2025.
- Height Requirement: Minimum height of 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm).
- Vision Requirement: 6/6 vision in each eye without glasses.
Educational Requirements:
- Qualification:
- BS in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
- BS with FSC/ICS/A Level/IB (International Baccalaureate) background with Physics as a major subject.
- Degrees in Computer Science, IT, AI, Economics, Finance, Statistics, English, or equivalent.
- BE (all disciplines) / BS (Engineering all disciplines) or equivalent.
- MBBS/BDS or equivalent degree.
All qualifications must be obtained with a minimum first division or a 2.5 CGPA from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized institution. The training period for selected candidates will be two years.
Ineligibility Conditions:
Applicants are ineligible if they:
- Have been rejected by the ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Boards under the following circumstances:
- Rejected twice by ISSB for postgraduate entry.
- Rejected twice by ISSB for intermediate or graduate entries and once rejected by other military selection boards.
- Screened out twice by ISSB.
- Tested within 120 days of a previous ISSB appearance (unless exempted).
- Dismissed, debarred, or removed from any government service, including armed forces.
- Convicted in a court of law for a serious offense.
- Declared permanently unfit by the Appeal Medical Board or due to Hepatitis B & C.
- Withdrawn from any military academy or training institution on disciplinary grounds.
- Submitted falsified documents or concealed information.
How to Join Pakistan Air Force PAF?
The selection process is rigorous, ensuring only the best candidates join PAF as commissioned officers:
- Online Registration: Applicants must register online at www.joinpaf.gov.pk.
- Initial Tests: This includes an intelligence test followed by an academic test conducted through e-Testing.
- Initial Medical Examination and Interview: Held at Information & Selection Centers.
- Physical Test: Applicants must complete the following:
- Running: 1 mile in 8 minutes.
- Push-Ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes.
- Sit-Ups: 20 repetitions in 2 minutes.
- Chin-Ups: 3 repetitions in 2 minutes.
- ISSB Test/Interview: Conducted in Kohat, Gujranwala, Malir, or Quetta.
- Final Medical Examination: Conducted at CMB Lahore.
- Flying Aptitude Test (FAT): Conducted at I&SC Rawalpindi.
- Final Selection: Based on merit and conducted by Air Headquarters.
