This role is part of the Bank’s Digital Banking Group and offers a dynamic career path for experienced banking professionals.
Position Overview
Job Title: Head Collections & Recovery (Digital Banking Group)
Grade: Band-4 to Band-2
Location: Lahore
Major Responsibilities
Budget Management: Oversee the divisional budget, including litigation expenses, recovery costs, and third-party agency commissions.
Portfolio Health: Track long-term indicators such as NPL ratios, provisioning, and roll-rate trends to maintain a healthy credit book.
Recovery Strategies: Oversee the deployment of recovery tools, including litigation, out-of-court settlements, and the auctioning of seized assets.
Performance Monitoring: Set annual/quarterly KPIs for Collections Unit Heads and conduct performance reviews based on recovery targets.
Data Analytics: Utilize predictive analytics to identify “Inflow” trends before accounts reach default status.
Inter-Departmental Liaison: Act as the primary link between Credit Initiation, Fraud Risk (FRMU), Card Operations, and Legal to resolve systemic default issues.
Fraud Oversight: Manage the fraud reporting mechanism to identify patterns such as “First-Payment Defaults” or “Bust-out” fraud.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an HEC recognized local or foreign university.
Experience: 9 to 12 years of relevant banking experience specifically in Collection & Recovery.
Age Limit: Up to 55 years as of the date of application.
