Career Opportunities in State Life Takaful

State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC), the country’s largest life and health insurer, is inviting applications for various positions within its Windows Takaful Operation. These positions are offered on a contract basis for three years, extendable based on performance.


Available Positions

1. Manager (Finance & Account)

  • Maximum Age: 45 years
  • Location: Karachi
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Education: Bachelor’s (4 years) or Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Alternatively, membership in recognized professional accounting bodies such as ICAP, ICMAP, or ACCA.
    • Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the Insurance or Family Takaful Sector.
    • Skills:
      • Knowledge of Takaful principles, Companies Act (2017), Insurance Ordinance (2000), and Takaful Rules (2012).
      • Familiarity with MS Office and experience with Oracle or SAP software.
    • Role Responsibilities:
      • Financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
      • Preparing financial statements, monitoring investments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

2. Manager (Policy Holder Service/Customer Services)

  • Maximum Age: 45 years
  • Location: Karachi
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent degree (16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Experience: 4–5 years of relevant experience in customer services, claims management, and legal compliance within the Takaful sector.
    • Skills:
      • Strong knowledge of Family Takaful operational systems.
      • Hands-on expertise in customer service operations.
    • Role Responsibilities:
      • Supervising Family Takaful operations, including underwriting and claims.
      • Ensuring smooth customer request processing and regulatory compliance.

3. Manager (Business Development – Banca Takaful)

  • Maximum Age: 45 years
  • Location: Karachi
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields (18 years of education).
    • Experience: 4–5 years of relevant experience in sales and business development within the Takaful or financial sector.
    • Skills:
      • Understanding of Takaful principles and bank channel operations.
      • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills for partner engagement.
    • Role Responsibilities:
      • Promoting Takaful products through banking channels.
      • Establishing strong relationships with partner banks, achieving sales targets, and training bank staff.
      • Designing marketing campaigns and organizing customer-focused events.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Candidates must possess domicile of the respective province.

  1. Download Application Form: Available at the Pakistan Testing Service (PTS) website.
  2. Fee Submission: Pay Rs. 810/- test fee at any UBL or HBL branch.
  3. Submission:
    • Send the application form along with the original fee deposit slip to:
      Pakistan Testing Service Head Quarter, 3rd Floor, Adeel Plaza, Fazal-e-Haq Road, Blue Area, Islamabad.
    • Mention the project name and job title on the envelope’s top right corner.

Important Details

  • Deadline: Applications must be submitted within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
  • Note: Incomplete applications or submissions without the fee deposit slip will not be entertained.
  • Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests and interviews. No TA/DA will be provided.
