The organization is seeking to hire for the position of Registration and Social Mobiliser Officer to work with Agri Women Workers.

Vacancy Details and Locations

  • Job Title: Registration and Social Mobiliser Officer – Agri Women Workers

  • Number of Positions: A total of 360 positions are available.

  • Distribution: The roles are spread across 23 districts of Sindh (excluding Karachi), with 03 individuals to be hired per tehsil.

  • Location: The positions are field-based at the district and Union Council (UC) level. Candidates must have their own motorbike.

  • Gender: There is no gender preference, and couples are encouraged to apply.

  • Job Type: This is a full-time, performance-based role for a short duration.

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

The primary role of the Registration and Social Mobiliser Officer is to identify, mobilize, and register agricultural women workers using Android-based digital applications. This position combines field outreach and technical data collection with close coordination with community members and local institutions to ensure an inclusive and accurate registration process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Community Mobilization & Awareness: Engaging local communities, particularly women agricultural workers, to build awareness about the registration initiative. This involves conducting household visits, group meetings, and community sessions.

  • Android-Based Registration: Using digital applications like KoboToolbox, ODK, or SurveyCTO to register agri-women workers and accurately capture demographic, livelihood, and socioeconomic data.

  • Field Survey Implementation: Supporting structured data collection exercises (baseline, endline, verification) while adhering to ethical protocols, including informed consent and data privacy.

  • Stakeholder & Community Engagement: Liaising with community leaders, women’s groups, and other relevant stakeholders to build trust and mobilize participation.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining daily registration logs, attendance sheets, and submitting timely progress updates.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this role:

  • Minimum Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Agriculture, Gender Studies, or any other relevant discipline.

  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant field experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in surveys of women, women’s empowerment, rural mobilization, agriculture-based or socio-economic surveys, or digital registration projects.

  • Essential Skills: Proven, hands-on experience with Android-based data collection tools is essential for this position.
