Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), located in Shaheed Benazirabad, is inviting applications for various contractual positions. The university is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to fill faculty and non-faculty positions. Eligible candidates with domicile in Sindh can apply by submitting their applications along with required documents and a processing fee.
Faculty Positions (Two-year contract, extendable)
1. Associate Professor (BPS-20) – Sindhi
Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience: 10 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university or 5 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
Publications: Must have 10 research publications in HEC-recognized journals, with at least 4 in the last 5 years.
2. Assistant Professor (BPS-19) – Media & Communication Studies
Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience: Not mandatory.
3. Assistant Professor (BPS-19) – Fine Arts
Qualification: Ph.D. or Master’s (MS/MPhil) in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience: Not mandatory.
4. Lecturers (BPS-18) – Various Departments
Departments: English, Business Studies, Genetics, Statistics, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Sindhi, Education, Microbiology, Pakistan Studies, Media & Communication Studies.
Qualification: First Class MS/MPhil or equivalent degree with no 3rd division in the academic career.
Experience: No experience required with a Ph.D.; 4 years of teaching/research experience required with an MS/MPhil.
Qualification: MBA, BE, or Master’s in Supply Chain Management.
Experience: 12 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of procurement laws and proficiency in MS Office.
2. Secrecy Officer (BPS-17)
Qualification: Postgraduate degree with at least a second class.
Experience: 4 years of administrative experience, preferably in university examinations.
3. Horticulturist/Plantation Officer (BPS-17)
Qualification: Preferably MS or B.Sc. (Hons) in Horticulture.
Experience: 4 years of relevant experience with knowledge of landscape designing.
4. Computer Programmer/Developer (BPS-17)
Qualification: MS/BS in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering.
Experience: 4 years of experience in software development, proficient in various programming languages and frameworks.
5. Protocol Officer (BPS-17)
Qualification: Graduate, BS, or B.COM with at least a second division.
Experience: 4 years in a reputable university or organization, with strong interpersonal skills.
6. Assistant Director QEC (BPS-17)
Qualification: MBA/MS with at least a first division or 3 CGPA.
Experience: 4 years of teaching or QEC work experience.
