Faculty Positions (Two Years Contract Extendable)

1. Professor (BPS-21) – Computer Science / Information Technology

• Qualifications: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Experience:
  • 15 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university or a reputable national or international institution.
  • Alternatively, 10 years of post-PhD experience in a recognized university or research organization.
• Publications: Minimum of 15 research publications, with at least 5 published in HEC-recognized journals in the past 5 years.

2. Lecturers (BPS-18)

Subjects:

• English
• Business Administration
• Microbiology
• Pakistan Studies
• Sindhi
• Genetics
• Education
• Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Statistics
• Media & Communication Studies
• Economics
• Qualifications: First-class MS/MPhil or equivalent degree in the relevant field with 18 years of education. No third division in the academic career.
• Condition: If the candidate holds a PhD or equivalent degree, one third division in the academic career is allowed.

3. Lecturer (BPS-18) – Arts & Design

• Qualifications: First-class degree with 16 years of education in the relevant field. No third division in the academic career.

Non-Faculty Positions

1. Registrar (BPS-20)

• Qualifications:
  • MA/MSc/MBA/BE or equivalent qualifications, preferably first class, with 17 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, PhD/MS/MPhil/ME with 15 years of experience.
• Skills: Must be knowledgeable about administration in universities, rules, regulations, and must have experience with agenda and working papers for meetings.
• Maximum Age Limit: 50 years (relaxable for suitable candidates).

2. Controller of Examinations (BPS-20)

• Qualifications:
  • MA/MSc/MBA/BE or equivalent qualifications, preferably first class, with 17 years of experience.
  • Alternatively, PhD/MS/MPhil/ME with 15 years of experience.
• Skills: Must be fully conversant with university examination systems, rules, and processes.
• Maximum Age Limit: 50 years (relaxable for suitable candidates).

Terms and Conditions

• The positions are open to candidates with domicile in Sindh Province.
• Applicants for Lecturer (BPS-18) positions who applied earlier do not need to reapply.
• Government and Semi-Government employees must apply through proper channels and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
