Enhanced Service Delivery Opportunities at Rural Health Centers
The Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), under the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of Punjab, is taking significant steps to enhance healthcare services at Rural Health Centers (RHCs) across the province. This initiative seeks to attract qualified specialist doctors from local and international communities to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in underserved areas.
Specialist Roles Required
The project aims to hire specialists in the following disciplines:
- Gynecologist
- Pediatrician
- General Surgeon
- Anesthetist
Selected Rural Health Centers
The following RHCs are prioritized for enhanced service delivery:
- Bahawalnagar: RHC Faqir Wali, RHC Madrissa
- Bahawalpur: RHC Ballah Jhullan, RHC Khutri Banglow, RHC Lal Sohanra, RHC Channi Goth
- Bhakkar: RHC Behal
- Khushab: RHC Roda
- Layyah: RHC Mirhan, RHC Jamman Shah
- Muzaffargarh: RHC Karam Dad Qureshi, RHC Seetpur, RHC Shah Jamal
- Rahim Yar Khan: RHC Jamal Din Wali, RHC Manthar Bangla, RHC Trinda Muhammad Panah, RHC Sehja
- Dera Ghazi Khan: RHC Kala, RHC Tibbi Qaisrani
- Rajanpur: RHC Harrand
- Lodhran: RHC Makhdoom Aali
- Mianwali: RHC Hafiz Wala
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold a valid PMDC Registration and a postgraduate degree in the relevant specialty.
- Specialists from both the private and public sectors are welcome to apply, including those on official leave.
Remuneration Structure
Specialists will be offered competitive remuneration packages:
- Pediatrician: PKR 12,000 per OPD (8 days per month)
- Gynecologist: PKR 12,000 per OPD (4 days per month)
- General Surgeon: PKR 12,000 per OPD (4 days per month); additional surgery payments ranging from PKR 2,000 to 15,000 per procedure (8 days per month)
- Anesthetist: PKR 5,000 per procedure (16 days per month)
