The Punjab Affordable Housing Program (PAHP) is funded by the World Bank. It is co-implemented by the Urban Unit and the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA).

This program supports the Government of Punjab in strengthening housing institutions and systems, while improving the quality and quantity of affordable housing.

The focus areas include:

Promoting private sector participation in affordable housing provision.
Providing infrastructure investment support.
Delivering alternative housing solutions to low-income communities.
Strengthening housing institutions with critical roles in policy and program development.
Supporting regulatory reforms for the housing sector.
Promoting livability and sustainability of housing through climate-resilient and energy-efficient infrastructure investments.
