Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences, Gambat, Khairpur Mirs, invites applications from experienced and qualified candidates for the following positions. These appointments are being made on a contract basis and are open to individuals bearing Sindh domicile.
1. Controller of Examinations (BPS-20)
- Age Limit: Maximum 50 years
- Qualification & Experience:
- PhD from an HEC-recognized university with 12 years of teaching and/or administrative experience in BPS-17 or above, in a Government or Government Autonomous Organization, University, Board, or College.
- Alternatively, candidates with MS/MPhil (18 years of education) or equivalent qualifications from an HEC-recognized university with 15 years of teaching and/or administrative experience in BPS-17 or above are also eligible.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience managing pre-examination and post-examination processes and policies.
- Familiarity with Outcome-Based Assessment (OBA) is required.
2. Additional Controller of Examinations (BPS-19 Equivalent)
- Age Limit: Maximum 50 years
- Qualification & Experience:
- PhD from an HEC-recognized university with 10 years of teaching and/or administrative experience in BPS-17 or above.
- Alternatively, candidates with MS/MPhil (18 years of education) and 12 years of relevant experience or MA/M.Sc/Bachelor’s/MBA (16 years of education) with 15 years of experience are also eligible.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Capable of managing examination processes.
- Knowledge of Outcome-Based Assessment (OBA) is necessary.

- A non-refundable demand draft of PKR 3,000 in favor of Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences, Gambat.
- Submission:
- Applications must be sent through registered postal service and should reach the HR Department within 15 days from the date of advertisement during office hours.
- Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
General Instructions:
- Government Employees: Applicants currently employed by Government/Semi-Government or Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channels, submitting an NOC from their employer.
- Contract Terms:
- All positions are initially contractual for three years, extendable by an additional two years based on performance.
- The positions are non-pensionable and subject to approval from the competent authority.
- Eligibility & Shortlisting:
- Only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and written test.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test or interview.
- Selection Process:
