A substantial number of 17,816 candidates, including both independent and party-affiliated individuals, contested across various constituencies, vying for positions in the National Assembly, Punjab Assembly, Sindh Assembly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and Balochistan. The election covered 855 constituencies out of 859, with exceptions in NA 8, PP 266, PK 22, and PK 91 due to the unfortunate demise of a candidate.

Providing insight into the unfolding results, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released unofficial results for 212 out of 265 National Assembly seats. The current data reveals independent candidates leading with 96 seats, closely followed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) securing 66 seats.

  • Independent Power Producers (IPP): 2 seats
  • Others: 5 seats

Additionally, the Pakistan People’s Party has managed to secure 51 National Assembly seats, while MQM-P has clinched 12 seats. Independent Power Producers (IPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) each secured two seats.
