Qualifications

  • Candidates should not exceed 50 years of age.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop financial and tax strategies to ensure the organization’s sustainability and compliance.
  • Lead the finance team to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create and manage organizational budgets.
  • Oversee all accounting and financial operations while maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare and submit timely financial statements and reports.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls for proper fund usage and audit readiness.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient funding for operations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential investment avenues.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations, ensuring adherence to all legal requirements.
  • Analyze financial forecasts and trends, preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Oversee payroll management, banking transactions, and asset accounting.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, as well as other stakeholders.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
  • Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial risks and key financial decisions.

2. Company Secretary

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Member of a recognized body of professional accountants.
  • Member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a Law degree from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Age Limit

  • Candidates should not exceed 50 years of age.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the company’s secretary, managing all board-related documentation and meetings.
  • Organize and prepare agendas for Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
  • Draft and maintain accurate minutes of board and committee meetings.
  • Act as a liaison between directors, officers, and shareholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
  • Collate information and write reports, ensuring decisions are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, taking appropriate actions as needed.
  • Advise board members on the legal and governance implications of proposed policies.
  • Develop and oversee systems to ensure the company complies with legal and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with external regulators and advisors, including lawyers and auditors.
  • Manage and safeguard key corporate documents and records.
