Job Responsibilities

- Oversee all accounting and financial operations while maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare and submit timely financial statements and reports.

Qualifications

- Member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a Law degree from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Age Limit
- Candidates should not exceed 50 years of age.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the company’s secretary, managing all board-related documentation and meetings.
- Organize and prepare agendas for Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
- Draft and maintain accurate minutes of board and committee meetings.
- Act as a liaison between directors, officers, and shareholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
- Collate information and write reports, ensuring decisions are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, taking appropriate actions as needed.
- Advise board members on the legal and governance implications of proposed policies.
- Develop and oversee systems to ensure the company complies with legal and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with external regulators and advisors, including lawyers and auditors.
- Manage and safeguard key corporate documents and records.
