National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) – Vacancies Announcement
The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF), a government-owned, not-for-profit company established under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017, provides grant financing for projects aimed at enhancing Pakistan’s resilience to climatic and other natural hazards. Its goal is to strengthen the government’s capacity to quickly respond to disasters triggered by natural hazards. To support this, NDRMF is seeking vibrant and qualified professionals for the following Islamabad-based positions on a performance-based contract:
1. Manager Disaster Risk Financing
Maximum Age: 57 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the “National DRF Strategy.”
- Coordinate with stakeholders, conduct research, and design disaster financing instruments.
- Align policies and review the development of disaster financing instruments.
Required Qualification:
- 16 years of education in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, with 3-5 years of specific experience in disaster risk financing, financial management, climate finance, or a related field.
2. Manager Project Preparation Facility
Maximum Age: 57 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Operationalize the goals and objectives of NDRMF.
- Provide methodological, technical, and practical capacities to partners to help implement feasible and bankable projects.
Required Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science/Engineering, or a related field. A PhD or other advanced degrees are advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, with 3-5 years of experience in project preparation, project management, or a similar role.
3. Manager Stakeholder and Donor Coordination
Maximum Age: 57 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and strengthen relationships with NDRMF’s key stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, international organizations, and partners.
Required Qualification:
- Master’s degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field. A PhD or advanced degree is advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, with 3-5 years of experience in donor coordination, stakeholder engagement, or partnership management roles.
4. Manager Monitoring & Reporting
Maximum Age: 57 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monitoring and reporting functions, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination of information related to NDRMF’s programs and initiatives.
Required Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Business Administration, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, with 3-5 years of experience in monitoring and reporting roles, particularly in disaster risk management or development sectors.
