Senior Relationship Manager – GoP & Specialized Agencies Division (GOPSA) (AVP/VP)

Reporting to: Unit Head – North

Educational/Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC.
  • Candidates with a Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications are preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking industry, including 3 years in relationship management within Corporate and/or Commercial and/or Risk Management and/or Investment Banking.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Strong analytical and structuring skills.
  • Sound understanding of products and services offered in Corporate & Investment Banking.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and credit-related expertise.
  • Thorough understanding of local and regional corporate client needs and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Unit Head – GOPSA in implementing business strategies and achieving sales/business targets.
  • Assess customer wallets, identify cross-sell opportunities, and develop plans to increase the share of the wallet.
  • Monitor the growth of the assigned portfolio and profitability of individual accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal business and product partners to provide seamless service to clients.
  • Achieve KPIs related to asset book building, cross-selling, and other banking products and services.
  • Prepare and recommend credit proposals, ensuring data integrity and adherence to the Bank’s policies.
  • Stay updated with regulatory guidelines and ensure strict compliance.
  • Prepare business call reports, facility letters, and other internal and external correspondences.
  • Maintain internal control standards and address audit points.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices.
  • Perform any other assignments as directed by supervisors.

Application Process

Only shortlisted candidates who meet the above-mentioned eligibility criteria will be invited for assessment tests and/or panel interviews. Employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, with the possibility of renewal at the discretion of the management. Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and benefits according to the Bank’s policy/rules.
