This authority operates under the administrative control of the Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination, as per section 6(1) of the Pakistan Climate Change Act, 2017. 1. Chairperson
Scale: MP-I
Number of Positions: 01
Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. with 15 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 18 years of experience in climate change or related fields.
- The candidate may be a scientist, academician, professional, serving or retired government servant, industrialist, agriculturist, or other technocrat.
Maximum Age: 62 years (as of the closing date of application submission)
2. Member (Adaptation)
Scale: MP-I
Number of Positions: 01
Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. with 15 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 18 years of experience in climate change or related fields.
- The candidate may be a scientist, academician, professional, serving or retired government servant, industrialist, agriculturist, or other technocrat.

3. Member (Mitigation)
Scale: MP-I
Number of Positions: 01
Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. with 15 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 18 years of experience in climate change or related fields.
- The candidate may be a scientist, academician, professional, serving or retired government servant, industrialist, agriculturist, or other technocrat.

4. Member (Climate Finance)
Scale: MP-I
Number of Positions: 01
Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. with 15 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 18 years of experience in climate change or related fields.
- The candidate may be a scientist, academician, professional, serving or retired government servant, industrialist, agriculturist, or other technocrat.

5. Member (Coordination)
Scale: MP-I
Number of Positions: 01
Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. with 15 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 18 years of experience in climate change or related fields.
- The candidate may be a scientist, academician, professional, serving or retired government servant, industrialist, agriculturist, or other technocrat.
Maximum Age: 62 years (as of the closing date of application submission)
Terms & Conditions:
- Disqualification:
- Dismissed or removed from service due to disciplinary proceedings.
- Convicted for an offense involving moral turpitude or corruption.
- Non-citizen of Pakistan during the appointment.
- Beneficiaries of the National Reconciliation Ordinance, 2007.
- Civil Servants/Government Servants:
- Eligible to apply through proper channels.
- Applications will be handled per MP Scales Policy, 2020.
- MP Scale Employment:
- Must submit an affidavit declaring non-involvement in conflicting business/jobs.
- Governed under the MP Scales Policy from the date of initial appointment.
