Ministry of Energy Seeks a Visionary Leader for Managing Director Role at NEECA
The Government of Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy (Power Division) has announced a significant career opportunity for the position of Managing Director (MD) at the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (NEECA). The Ministry is inviting applications from highly qualified and experienced professionals to lead the nation’s primary institution for energy efficiency and conservation.
This leadership role is crucial for driving Pakistan’s strategy towards a sustainable energy future, focusing on reducing energy waste and promoting conservation across all sectors.
Eligibility Criteria: A Blend of Expertise and Experience
Candidates aspiring for this prestigious position must meet the following stringent criteria:
Qualification: Applicants must hold at least a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Energy Efficiency, Energy Management, or Sustainable Energy. The degree must be from a local or international university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Experience: A minimum of ten years of related professional experience within the energy sector is required.
Terms of Employment: A Leadership Mandate
The selected candidate will be entrusted with significant responsibilities under the following terms:
Remuneration and Privileges: The complete terms and conditions for the MD position, including salary and other benefits, will be determined by the Federal Government.
Tenure: The Managing Director will be appointed for an initial term of three years. Based on satisfactory performance, the individual will be eligible for reappointment for a similar term, serving up to a maximum age of sixty-five years.
