The Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD), a world-class research institution at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, has announced a special Internship Program for Medical and Dental Students. This highly sought-after program is designed for recent graduates and final-year students, offering them a unique opportunity to gain exposure to original research in a globally recognized facility.

The month-long internship, scheduled from December 1st to 31st, 2025, aims to involve participants in research activities at the molecular and cellular levels. The objective is to help them attain a preliminary level of proficiency in conducting clinically relevant research, formulating research questions, applying appropriate methodologies, and critically interpreting scientific findings. This short-term, intensive exposure is expected to ignite a lasting interest in research among future medical professionals.


About the Institution

ICCBS is one of the top academic research establishments in the developing world and a designated Sindh Government Healthcare Research Center. It comprises two constituent centers: the H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry and the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research.
