The Hyderabad Institute for Technology & Management Sciences (HITMS) has invited applications for several faculty positions under the HEC project titled “Establishment of Federal Institute at Hyderabad.” The appointments will be made on a contract basis for a period of two years.

The institute is seeking to fill positions for Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer across various departments. Open Positions and Eligibility Criteria
HITMS is hiring for the following faculty roles:
1. Associate Professor (BPS-20)
Number of Posts: 02
Departments: Computer Science & Related Studies, Software Engineering & Related Studies.
Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution with no 3rd Division in the academic career.
Experience:
10 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized Higher Education Institution/University OR 10 years of professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization, out of which 5 years must be teaching experience.
OR 5 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience.
Candidates with expertise in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), curriculum development, and accreditation will be given preference.
Research Publications: 10 research publications with at least 4 in the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals.
2. Assistant Professor (BPS-19)
Number of Posts: 03
Departments: Computer Science & Related Studies, Software Engineering & Related Studies, Finance and Technology.
Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution with no 3rd Division in the academic career.
Experience: Experienced candidates with 1-2 years of teaching/research experience may be given preference.
3. Lecturer (BPS-18)
Number of Posts: 03
Departments: Mathematics, English, Finance and Technology.
Qualification: Master’s Degree (equivalent to 18 years of education) with a 3.0 CGPA (First Class) in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized institution, with no 3rd Division in the academic career.
Experience: Experienced candidates with 1-2 years of teaching/research experience may be given preference.
How to Apply
Interested candidates must follow a specific application procedure:

Pay the Application Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 5,000/- must be paid through a Demand Draft / Pay Order in favor of Hyderabad Institute for Technology & Management Science.
Prepare the Application Package: The application form must be duly filled and submitted with all supporting documents.
Associate Professor applicants must submit five copies of their application set.
Assistant Professor applicants must submit one copy.
Each set should include the applicant’s bio-data/CV, attested copies of degrees, certificates, one photograph, and research publications, all properly bonded.
Submit the Application: The complete application package must reach the office of the Registrar on or before fifteen days from the date of this advertisement’s publication.

Important Instructions
Government Employees: Candidates serving in Government/Semi-Government and autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel.
