Hyderabad Institute for Technology & Management Sciences (HITMS) is offering an array of exciting career opportunities for both faculty and non-faculty positions. Under the HEC project titled Establishment of Federal Institute at Hyderabad (Federal Institute of Science, Technology and the Arts – Hyderabad) Sindh, HITMS aims to recruit talented individuals for a period of two years on a contract basis.

Faculty Positions:

For faculty positions in Computer Science & related fields, HITMS is seeking candidates with a Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University or Institution, with no 3rd Division in their academic career. Candidates should possess a minimum of fifteen years of teaching/research experience in a recognized University or post-graduate Institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Additionally, candidates must have a track record of research publications, with at least 15 research publications, including 5 publications during the last 5 years in HEC recognized Journals.

Non-faculty Positions:

HITMS is also looking to fill various non-faculty positions, including Registrar, Director Finance, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Director Network & Systems, Assistant Director CMS/Office Automation, Lab Supervisor, Assistant (Lab Technician), Librarian, Library Assistant, Clerk-Cum-Pc- Operator, Driver, Naib Qasid/Office Attendant, Head Malhi, Security Guard, and Sweeper.

The eligibility criteria for these positions vary, with requirements ranging from a Master’s degree to relevant technical experience and skills.

Application Process:

Interested candidates can download the application form from the HITMS website or obtain it from the office of the Registrar. A processing fee is applicable for different positions, payable via Demand Draft/Pay Order. The completed application form, along with supporting documents, should be submitted to the office of the Registrar within fifteen days of the publication of the advertisement.

Important Instructions:

Candidates are advised to carefully review the qualification and eligibility criteria before applying. Applications from candidates serving in Government/Semi-Government and autonomous bodies should be routed through the proper channel. The maximum age limit for most positions is 45 years, although exceptions may apply. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further evaluation, and no TA/DA will be provided for the interview/written test.
