Higher Education Commission (HEC) Announces Vacancies for PSDP Project

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan is inviting applications from qualified Pakistani nationals for various contract-based positions under the PSDP-funded development project titled “Prime Minister’s National Innovation Awards, Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.”

Vacant Positions

Deputy Director (Coordination) [PPS-08]
- Quota: Merit
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualifications/Experience:
  - First Class Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Management Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology from an HEC-recognized university.
  - A minimum of 5 years of experience in project preparation, formulation, design, grants management, and documentation in managerial roles, along with at least 3 years of experience in a startup/entrepreneurial setup.
- Maximum Age: 50 years
Assistant Director (PPS-07)
- Quota: Punjab
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualifications/Experience:
  - First Class Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Management Sciences, Business, Public Administration, Computer Science, or Project Management from an HEC-recognized university.
  - At least 3 years of experience in project preparation, formulation, design, and documentation.
- Maximum Age: 45 years
Assistant Director (Communication) [PPS-07]
- Quota: Punjab
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualifications/Experience:
  - First Class Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Management Sciences, Mass Communication, or Media Sciences from an HEC-recognized university.
  - A minimum of 3 years of experience in communication methods, approaches, planning, designing, and implementation of communication systems, data collection, and report writing, preferably in research marketing.
- Maximum Age: 45 years

Application Guidelines

Application Deadline: November 8, 2024.
Interested candidates are required to apply online through the HEC careers portal: https://careers.hec.gov.pk.
No need to send hard copies of documents.
An application processing fee of Rs. 600/- should be deposited in HEC’s account.
Applicants working in Government Service must apply through the proper channel.
Eligible candidates outside Islamabad/Rawalpindi will have the opportunity to participate via video conferencingat the nearest test locations.

Selection Process

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
HEC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies or reject any or all applications without providing reasons.
