Position Overview

• Job Title: Lady Health Visitor/Paramedic
• Place of Posting: District Offices in Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Hyderabad, Karachi
• No. of Positions: 05 (Female)
• Reporting Line: District Project Manager (DPM), District Executive Manager (DEM), or Project Manager
• Age Limit: 22 years and above

Qualification & Experience

• Education: Two-year Diploma in LHV Course, registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
• Experience: 1-3 years of relevant working experience in maternal and child health services.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and competencies:

• Proficiency in communicating with mothers in the local language.
• Expertise in IUCD insertion and removal procedures.
• Ability to calculate Expected Date of Delivery (EDD) and assess gestational age, including measuring fundus height.
• Competence in identifying high-risk factors during pregnancy and providing continuous monitoring.
• Efficiency in documentation and reporting related to Family Planning (FP) and Maternal and Child Health (MCH).
• Familiarity with health-related software and portals for effective performance tracking.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for the following duties:

Maternal and Child Health Services

• Provide antenatal, natal, postnatal, and post-abortion care services.
• Deliver neonatal health services at assigned health facilities.

Health Monitoring and Assessment

• Assess pregnant mothers for high-risk factors and monitor their health throughout pregnancy.
• Perform gestational assessments and calculate EDD for better pregnancy outcomes.

Training and Reporting

• Attend all project-related trainings and workshops.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, supplies, and medicines.
• Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and progress reports.

Coordination and Compliance

• Coordinate with other facility staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to human rights, patient rights, and professional ethics during duty hours.
• Ensure proper cleanliness of delivery areas and equipment.
• Follow strict infection prevention protocols and supervise the disposal of hospital waste.
