Vacant Positions

1. Pilot (BPS-19) – 6 Positions

• Qualification: Master Mariner (Foreign-Going Ships) with endorsement under STCW Convention 1995.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years command experience on sea-going vessels and 5 years as Mate/Chief Officer.

2. Gynecologist (BPS-19) – 1 Position

• Qualification: FCPS, FRCOG, MRCOG, or American Board Diplomat in Gynecology.
• Experience: 15 years of post-qualification experience.

3. 2nd Engineer (BPS-18) – 2 Positions

• Qualification: Valid First-Class Certificate of Competency (Motor/Diesel) under STCW Convention 1995.
• Experience: 5 years in watch-keeping and maintenance of diesel engines.

4. Mechanical Engineer (BPS-18) – 1 Position

• Qualification: B.E in Mechanical Engineering or valid 1st Class Certificate of Competency (Diesel) under STCW Convention 1995.
• Experience: 5 years in mechanical engineering or diesel engine maintenance.

5. Tug Commander (BPS-18) – 5 Positions

• Qualification: Valid Class-II Deck Certificate of Competency of Chief Mate under STCW Convention 1995.
• Experience: 3 years sailing experience on Foreign Going Ships.

6. Assistant Surgeon (BPS-18) – 1 Position

• Qualification: Post Graduate Fellowship (FCPS) with 2 years of experience or MBBS with 7 years of clinical surgery experience.

7. Pathologist (BPS-18) – 1 Position

• Qualification: FCPS or M. Phil in Pathology with 15 years of experience.

8. 2nd Officer (BPS-17) – 3 Positions

• Qualification: Valid Class II/III Certificate of Competency (Nautical) under STCW Convention 1995.
• Experience: 3 years as Second Mate on sea-going vessels.

9. 3rd Engineer (BPS-17) – 4 Positions

• Qualification: Valid 2nd Class Certificate of Competency (Diesel/Motor) under STCW Convention 1995.
• Experience: 2 years in watch-keeping and maintenance of diesel engines.

10. Assistant Electrical Engineer (BPS-17) – 5 Positions

• Qualification: B.E in Electrical Engineering with 1 year of practical experience.

11. Sonologist (BPS-17) – 1 Position

• Qualification: MBBS with 6 months ultrasound training and 3 years post-qualification experience.

12. Medical Officer (BPS-17) – 5 Positions

• Qualification: MBBS with 2 years of experience, including 1 year of house job.

13. Assistant Dock Master (BPS-17) – 1 Position

• Qualification: 2nd Mate Certificate of Competency with at least 3 years of experience.

14. Marine Engineer (BPS-17) – 1 Position

• Qualification: MOT Class-II with 2 years of relevant experience.

15. Assistant Manager HRM/HRD (BPS-17) – 2 Positions

• Qualification: BBA with 2 years of experience in HR administration.

16. Assistant Manager Stores (BPS-17) – 2 Positions

• Qualification: BBA or B.Sc in Physics and Math with 3 years of experience in Material Management.

17. Assistant Estate Manager (BPS-17) – 1 Position

• Qualification: MBA/MPA or B.E (Civil) with 2 years of estate matters experience.

18. Traffic Officer (BPS-17) – 1 Position

• Qualification: MBA Fresh or BBA with 2 years of experience in cargo handling.

19. Assistant Hydrographer (BPS-16) – 1 Position

• Qualification: Graduate with 2 years of experience in Post Hydrographic Survey.
