Mandatory Physical Standards & Fitness Tests
Law enforcement roles require high physical fitness. Candidates must meet the following minimum standards to qualify for the written examination:
For Male Candidates (ASI, Constable, Driver, Wireless Operator):
Height: 5 Feet 5 Inches (Minimum).
Chest: 33 inches with 1.5 inches expansion (34.5 inches total).
Vision: 6/6 in both eyes.
Physical Endurance: Candidates must complete a 1.6-kilometer run in 07 minutes.
For Female Candidates (Lady Prison Constable):
Height: 5 Feet (Minimum).
Physical Endurance: Candidates must complete an 800-meter walk in 14 minutes.
