Available Vacancies and Qualifications
The department is seeking qualified individuals for the following roles. Each position has specific requirements regarding education and technical skills:
Stenographer (BPS-14): Requires a Graduation degree (at least 2nd Division) and a certificate in English Shorthand (80 wpm) and Typing (35 wpm). Proficiency in computers is preferred.
Data Processing Assistant (BPS-12): Open to Graduates (2nd Division) with a one-year Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized technical board (SBTE).
Junior Clerk (BPS-11): Candidates must be Graduates with a 6-month MS Office certificate from a recognized technical institution.
Art Teacher (BPS-11): Requires a Graduation degree along with an Art/Drawing Teacher course certificate.
Instructor (BPS-11): Open to Graduates with a relevant technical diploma from SBTE.
Dispenser (BPS-09): Requires an Intermediate qualification (minimum C Grade) and a valid certificate from the Sindh Medical Faculty.
Primary Teacher (BPS-06): Candidates with PTC (at least C Grade) or an Intermediate qualification are eligible.
Carpenter Master (BPS-06): Requires a Matriculation (C Grade) with a relevant technical certificate from SBTE.
Electrician (BPS-05): Matric (C Grade) and a relevant electrical certificate from SBTE are mandatory.
Tailor Master (BPS-05): Open to Matriculates (C Grade) with a diploma or certificate in tailoring.
Mandatory Requirement: STS Screening Test
A fundamental requirement for all these positions is the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) General Screening Test. Applicants must have passed the test in the relevant category (Graduation, Intermediate, or Matriculation) with a minimum of 40% marks. Having the original STS result certificate is mandatory for the recruitment process.
Age Limit and Relaxation Rules
The standard age limit for most positions is between 18 and 28 years (21 to 28 for Junior Clerks). However, candidates can benefit from the Sindh Government’s age relaxation policies. General upper age relaxation of 5 years is typically provided, and specific relaxations of up to 15 years may apply as per the latest government notifications.
