RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – The newly established Bureau of Aircraft Safety Investigation Pakistan (BASIP), an attached department of the Ministry of Defence, has announced a critical recruitment drive for highly skilled Aircraft Investigators. This is a unique opportunity for experienced aviation professionals to join a vital organization responsible for civil aircraft investigations in Pakistan, ensuring compliance with PACI Act, 2023, and ICAO Annex 13.

Number of Positions: 2
Required Qualifications / Courses:
BE Aerospace / Avionics OR BSc in Aero Sciences: A strong foundational education in aeronautical engineering or aviation sciences is mandatory.
Aircraft Accident Investigation course qualified: Specific training in aircraft accident investigation is essential.
Human Factor Course qualified: Understanding human factors in aviation is critical for comprehensive investigations.
Safety Management System course qualified: Expertise in aviation safety management is a core requirement.
Note: Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI) will be preferred.
Experience in the field of Aircraft Accident Investigation Management will be preferred.
Remuneration will be decided at the time of interview.
BASIP may hire a qualified aircraft investigator for another investigation (if required).
Extensive Experience Requirements:
Candidates for these aviation investigation jobs must demonstrate substantial experience in the field:
Minimum 15 years in the field of Civil / Military Aviation.
Minimum of 2000 flying hours including 12 years of Commercial / Military Flying.
ORMinimum 12 years in Civil / Military Aviation maintenance.
Minimum of 02 years of Aircraft Accident Investigation.
