Karachi Shipyard Training School Admissions 2026: Vocational Technical Courses (CBT/Non-CBT)

The Shipyard Training School at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW), recognized as the only shipbuilding industry in Pakistan, has announced admissions for its Vocational Technical Training Short Courses. These courses are offered in collaboration with the Sindh Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (STEBTA) and the Trade Testing Board (TTB).

Classes for the new batch are scheduled to commence from January 01, 2026, in both Morning and Evening Shifts, providing excellent practical skills development opportunities.

Vocational Technical Training Courses & Fees

The courses are available in various trades on both Competency-Based Training (CBT) and Non-CBT formats, ranging from 6 to 12 months in duration.

Shift Timings

Morning Shift: 08:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.
Evening Shift: 01:30 p.m. to 06:00 p.m.

Fee and Discount

Advance Fee: Two months' fee must be paid in advance for confirmation/registration of the seat.
Discount: Candidates who pay fee in advance for 06 or 12 months will be given a 5% discount.
Safety Deposit: Upon confirmation of admission, each candidate must deposit Rs 3500/- for the provisioning of a Safety Vest and Safety Shoes by STS.
