Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) Jobs 2025, The consultant will play a key role in preparing bidding documents, evaluating bids, and assisting the procurement committee throughout the process.
Scope of Services
- Preparation of Bidding/Tender Documents:
- Develop comprehensive bidding documents for the procurement of buses and the selection of a vehicle operating company as per SPPRA Rules.
- Evaluation of Bids:
- Evaluate bids based on the criteria outlined in the bidding documents.
- Assistance to Procurement Committee:
- Provide support to the Procurement Committee throughout the bidding process, including the award of contracts.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
Qualification:
- Masters/Bachelors in Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Urban Engineering, or any other relevant field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the transport sector, particularly in:
- Preparing financial models and bidding documents for the procurement of buses.
- Developing specifications for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
- Managing the operations and maintenance of vehicle operating companies, covering technical, legal, and financial aspects.
