Medical Teaching Institution Bannu Announces Job Openings for Various Consultant and Specialist Positions
The Office of the Medical Director at the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Bannu has announced several job openings for qualified professionals to fill vacancies under the Medical Teaching Institution Reforms Amendment Act of 2015.
Job Positions and Requirements
The following positions are open at MTI Bannu, each with specific qualifications and experience requirements:
- Consultant Pain Management (1 Position, M/F)
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent from a recognized university, registered by PM&DC/PMC.
- Experience: FCPS or equivalent in the relevant field or level III qualification in approved specialties.
- Consultant Interventional Cardiology (1 Position, M/F)
- Qualification: MBBS or equivalent with FCPS in the relevant specialty.
- Experience: Similar to above, with recognition from PM&DC/PMC.
- Consultant Radiologist (3 Positions, M/F)
- Qualification: MBBS with FCPS or equivalent in radiology.
- Experience: Approved level III qualification or equivalent, including MCPS or DMRD.
- Consultant Anesthetist (3 Positions, M/F)
- Qualification: MBBS with FCPS or equivalent in anesthesiology.
- Experience: MCPS/Diploma in anesthesia if a fellow is unavailable.
- Sonologist (6 Positions, Female)
- Qualification: MBBS with specialization in sonology.
- Experience: FCPS or equivalent in relevant field, recognized by PM&DC/PMC.
- Sonologist (3 Positions, Male)
- Qualification: Similar to the above female sonologist position.
- Optometrist (2 Positions, M/F)
- Qualification: BS in Optometry/Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.
- Clinical Technologist – Pulmonology (2 Positions, M/F)
- Qualification: Master’s or BS in the relevant field with at least 16 years of education.
- Ophthalmic Technician (4 Positions, Male/Female)
- Qualification: SSC with a diploma in paramedical technology or equivalent.
Terms and Conditions
- Application Process: Application forms are available at mtibannu.edu.pk. Completed applications with relevant documents must reach the HR Department, KGN MTI Bannu, by the deadline specified in the advertisement. A processing fee of Rs. 1500 is required, payable to Bank Account No. 3009735585 (Bank of Khyber).
- Submission: Applications must be submitted both electronically and in person or by post.
- Non-Practicing Clause: Selected candidates must refrain from private clinical practice outside MTI Bannu.
- Closing Date: If the deadline falls on a holiday, the following working day will be considered.
- Scrutiny: Incomplete applications will be rejected, and candidates may appeal decisions as per MTI policies.
- No TA/DA: No travel allowance will be provided for test/interview attendance.
Eligibility and General Rules
- The MTI reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
- Candidates with a history of dismissal from public service or who provide false information may be disqualified.
