The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites applications from eligible and suitable candidates for the following positions on a regular basis in the Security Directorate:

Available Positions:

1. Head Leading Fireman (11 positions)

   • Qualifications: Intermediate with the following courses:
     • Leading Fireman Course
     • Fireman Course
     • Fire Protection and Safety Officer Course
   • Quota:
     • Punjab (Open Merit) – 1 position
     • Punjab (ECQ) – 1 position
     • Punjab (Open Merit) – 7 positions
     • Punjab (Minority) – 1 position
     • Sindh (Rural Open Merit) – 2 positions
   • Age Limit: 28 years

2. Fireman (18 positions)

   • Qualifications: Matriculate with the following courses:
     • Fireman Course
     • First Aid Orientation Course
   • Quota:
     • Sindh (Rural Open Merit) – 1 position
     • Sindh (Rural ECQ) – 1 position
     • Sindh (Urban Open Merit) – 1 position
     • Sindh (Urban ECQ) – 1 position
     • Balochistan (Open Merit) – 1 position
     • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Open Merit) – 1 position
     • AJK (Open Merit) – 1 position
     • FATA/GB (Open Merit) – 1 position
   • Age Limit: 28 years

General Conditions and Instructions:

• Test and Interview: The written test will be conducted by OTS (Open Testing Service), and the interview will be conducted by WAPDA.
• Age Relaxation:
  • Up to 10 years relaxation for Government/WAPDA employees who have completed 2 years of continuous service.
• Application Process:
  • Candidates already employed by WAPDA should apply through the WAPDA HR Division and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  • Only children of WAPDA employees are eligible for the WAPDA Employees’ Children Quota. Children of employees from DISCOs, GENCOs, NTDC, etc., are not eligible.
• Disqualification: Candidates who have been dismissed from service on disciplinary grounds or are debarred from future employment are not eligible.
• WAPDA Rights: WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
• No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for tests or interviews.
• Incomplete Applications: Applications with incomplete or incorrect information or those received after the deadline will be rejected.

How to Apply in Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Jobs?

• Visit the OTS website (www.ots.org.pk) to register and submit applications within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
• A test fee of Rs. 200 must be paid at any branch of Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL using the prescribed bank challan form available on the OTS website.
• Candidates must specify the post they are applying for.
• Send the completed application form along with attested copies of educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, relevant experience certificates, two passport-sized photographs, and the original fee challan to:

  Manager Operations (WAPDA), Open Testing Service, Office No. 1, Central Avenue, Bahria Town Phase-V, Islamabad.

• Candidates will receive roll number slips and test center details via SMS from OTS.
• Applications submitted by hand or received after the deadline will not be entertained.
