Eligibility Requirements
The university has set specific educational and professional requirements for each discipline. The qualifications differ slightly for Information Technology and Law departments, as outlined below:
1. Engineering, Information Technology, and Computing Disciplines
- Lecturer:
- Qualification: First Class MS/MPhil (or equivalent degree) after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution. There should be no third division in the academic record.
- Assistant Professor:
- Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or institution.
2. Law Discipline
- Lecturer:
- Qualification: LL.B. degree (First Class) from an HEC-recognized university or institution. No third division in the academic career.
- Assistant Professor:
- Qualifications (any one of the following):
- Ph.D. in Law or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized university or institution.
- L.L.M., J.D., or equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized university or institution with 4 years of teaching or research experience in an HEC-recognized university/post-graduate institution, or professional experience in a relevant field in a national or international organization.
- LL.B. degree (First Class) from an HEC-recognized university or institution with 6 years of teaching or research experience, or professional experience in a relevant field in a national or international organization.
- Qualifications (any one of the following):
