University of Sindh Announces Major Recruitment Drive for Senior Leadership and Technical Roles
The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, one of Pakistan’s oldest and most prestigious public universities, has announced significant career opportunities for experienced and qualified professionals. Senior Leadership and Administrative Positions

1. Director, Office of the Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC)
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-21
Qualification: PhD/MPhil/MS in a relevant field. Candidates with additional qualifications in research administration, academic leadership, or commercialization will be preferred.
Experience: At least 10-15 years of professional experience in academia, research, or industry with a proven track record in managing research projects and collaborations.

2. Director, Research & Graduate
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-20
Qualification: Master’s degree (First Class), preferably a Ph.D., from a recognized university.
Experience: 17 years of administrative experience in a University at Grade-17 and above.

3. Registrar (Tenure Post)
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-20
Qualification: Postgraduate (First Class).
Experience: 17 years of administrative experience in a University at Grade-17 and above.

4. Director Admissions
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-20
Qualification: Master’s degree (First Class), preferably a Ph.D., from a recognized university.
Experience: 17 years of administrative experience in admissions at a University (Grade-17 and above).

5. Controller of Examinations
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-20
Qualification: Postgraduate (First Class).
Experience: 17 years of administrative and examination experience in a University (Grade-17 and above).

6. Engineering Advisor
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-20
Qualification: B.E. (First Class).
Experience: 17 years of experience in construction works in a University, Government, or reputable firm.

7. Director Planning
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-19
Qualification: Postgraduate in Economics or Statistics (First Class).
Experience: 12 years of administrative experience in a University, Board, College, or Government/Autonomous Organization.

8. Project Director
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-19
Qualification: B.E. (First Class).
Experience: 12 years of experience in construction works in a University, Government, or reputable firm.

9. Deputy Director QEC
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-18
Qualification: Preferably 1st Class Master’s or equivalent (16 years of education) with an 8-semester system from a University well-versed with the semester system.

10. Manager ORIC (I&C)
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-18
Qualification: PhD degree from an HEC-recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Research & Development, Commercialization, Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), and HEC policies.

11. Senior Budget Officer
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-17
Qualification: CA/CMA/ACCA/ M.B.A Finance / M.A Economics.
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience (PQE). Experience in the corporate sector would be an added advantage.

Technical and IT Positions
12. Network Engineer
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-17
Qualification: First Class BS / M.Sc (IT, Software Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication), BS (Computer Science), B.E. (Computer System).
Experience: Certification in networking will be preferable. 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer is required.
Age Limit: 40 years
13. System Administrator
Pay Scale: Equivalent to BPS-17
Qualification: B.S / M. Sc (Computer / Information Technology / Electronics / Telecommunication).
Experience: 3 years of experience as a System Administrator in a recognized and reputable organization.

Pay the Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee must be paid via the online challan. The fee structure is as follows:
Rs. 5,000/- for positions at S.No. 01 to 06.
Rs. 4,000/- for positions at S.No. 07 to 10.
Rs. 3,000/- for positions at S.No. 11 to 13.
