Vacant Faculty Positions
The university is looking to hire faculty for the following departments on a regular basis:
Associate Professor (BPS-20)
Age Limit: 30-50 Years

Key Requirements: PhD in the relevant field, significant teaching/research experience, and a strong record of ten research publications (at least four in the last five years).

Applications are invited from individuals domiciled in Punjab for the following regular administrative posts:
Director (Student Affairs) (BPS-20)
Age Limit: 40-50 Years
Qualification: PhD, MS/M.Phil, or Master’s degree with extensive post-qualification teaching and administrative experience.
Additional Director (Information Technology Services) (BPS-19)
Age Limit: 35-50 Years
Qualification: MS or M.Phil / Master’s or BS (Hons) in a relevant IT field with significant post-qualification experience (8-10 years).
Deputy Registrar (BPS-18)
Age Limit: 25-45 Years
Qualification: MS or M.Phil / Master’s or BS (Hons) with 3-5 years of post-qualification teaching or administrative experience.
Deputy Treasurer (BPS-18)
Age Limit: 25-45 Years
Qualification: MS/M.Phil in Finance/Accounting or MBA (Finance)/ACCA/ACMA/M.Sc (Economics) with 3-5 years of post-qualification administrative experience.
Deputy Director (Planning & Development) (BPS-18)

Qualification: MS/M.Phil or Master’s/BS (Hons) in Economics/Management Sciences with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
Senior Engineer/XEN (Civil) (BPS-18)
Age Limit: 25-45 Years
Qualification: B.Sc. (second division) in Civil Engineering, registered with PEC.
Experience: Five years of post-qualification executive level experience in the construction sector.
Assistant Director (Press, Media & Publications) (BPS-17)
Age Limit: 21-35 Years
Qualification: Master’s degree or BS (Hons) (second division) in Mass Communication, Media Studies, or Journalism.
Personal Secretary (BPS-17)
Age Limit: 21-35 Years
Qualification: Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline.
Skills: 100 words per minute shorthand speed and 50 words per minute typing speed in English.
Age relaxation for all positions shall be admissible as per the Policy of the Government.
How to Apply and Application Fee
The application process requires careful adherence to the university’s instructions and submission of a hard-copy dossier.
Application Form: The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the University of Rasul website: (https://www.putrasul.edu.pk).
Application Fee: The fee must be deposited in the National Bank of Pakistan (GSE, Rasul Branch, M.B. Din, Account No. PK27NBPA0469003174230619).
BPS 19 & 20: Rs. 3,000/-
BPS 17 & 18: Rs. 2,000/-
Submission of Documents:
For Associate Professor: Applicants must submit four (04) sets of the application dossier.
For all other posts: Applicants must submit two (02) sets of the application dossier.
The dossier must include the application form, attested copies of all degrees, transcripts, experience certificates, CNIC, domicile, a character certificate, an “Employment Verification Proforma (EVP),” and the original bank challan/deposit slip.
For Associate and Assistant Professor posts, a CD or other digital storage device containing scanned copies of the complete dossier and publications is also required.

Important Terms and Conditions
A separate application must be submitted for each post.
Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel and provide a fresh NOC from their appointing authority.
Experience will only be counted if it is post-qualification and supported by a verified “Employment Verification Proforma (EVP).”
Candidates with foreign degrees must provide an HEC/IBCC equivalence certificate.
The university reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or to not fill any post without assigning any reason.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.

Q1: What is the last date to apply?
The complete application dossier must be received by the Registrar’s Office no later than October 27, 2025.
Q2: Is the application process online?
No, the process is manual. You need to download the application form from the university website and submit hard copies of all required documents, along with the application fee deposit slip, to the Registrar’s Office.
Q3: How much is the application fee?
The fee is Rs. 3,000/- for positions in BPS-19 and BPS-20, and Rs. 2,000/- for positions in BPS-17 and BPS-18.
Q4: I have a third division in my academic career. Can I still apply?
Generally, a third division makes you ineligible. The only exception is for candidates who hold a PhD in the relevant field, and even then, they cannot have more than one third division in their entire academic history.
Q5: I am currently working in a government department. What is the procedure for me?
You must apply through the proper channel. This means your application must be forwarded by your current department’s appointing authority, and you must include a fresh No Objection Certificate (NOC) with your application.
