Thardeep Rural Development Programme (TRDP) Announces Job Openings in Khairpur
The Thardeep Rural Development Programme (TRDP), a prominent non-governmental organization, has announced several vacancies for a project being implemented in District Khairpur. TRDP is seeking applications from qualified, motivated, and experienced professionals to join their team and contribute to rural development initiatives.
Available Positions and Qualification Requirements
TRDP is looking to fill five key roles, each requiring specific expertise and qualifications.

| 1 | Project Manager | – Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.<br>– At least 8-10 years of experience managing large, multi-sectoral development or humanitarian projects.<br>– Proven expertise in Engineering, WASH, disaster risk management, livelihoods, women’s empowerment, and GBV programming.<br>– Prior experience with donor-funded projects within NGOs/INGOs is essential. |
| 2 | Programme Officer Livelihood | – Master’s Degree in Development, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.<br>– A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in designing, implementing, and managing livelihood recovery and development programmes.<br>– Experience in post-conflict and early recovery contexts, and in building partnerships with government and private sector entities is required.<br>– Prior experience with an NGO or INGO is an asset. |
| 3 | GBV Officer <br> (Female only) | – Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field.<br>– 2+ years of experience in providing SGBV case management and psychosocial support (PSS).<br>– Demonstrated experience in women’s protection, empowerment programs, reproductive health, and counseling.<br>– Must be fluent in English, Sindhi, and Urdu. |
| 4 | Psychologist | – A Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field, along with a license to practice, from an HEC-recognized institution.<br>– At least two years of working experience with NGOs/INGOs.<br>– Knowledge of mental health in complex emergencies, excellent communication skills in Sindhi, English, and Urdu, and demonstrated ability in stress management and conflict resolution. |
| 5 | Field Engineer/WASH Officer | – Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.<br>– A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in WASH projects, including infrastructure design and community-based interventions, preferably within NGOs/INGOs. |
