Higher Education Commission (HEC) The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme 2025-2026
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) invites applications from Pakistani/AJK nationals for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme (2025-26), launched by the Hungarian Government for Bachelor’s, One-Tier Master’s, Master’s, and PhD studies.

How to Apply in Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program 2025-2026
- Mandatory Dual Submission:
Applicants must submit online applications at both the Hungarian and HEC portals separately. Failing to submit on either portal will result in rejection. - Hungarian Portal Application:
Visit https://stipendiumhungaricum.hu/apply/ to register and complete your profile. Select the “Hungarian Scholarship Program.” After submission, download and sign the application as proof. - HEC Portal Application:
Visit https://scholarship.hec.gov.pk to apply. Complete the profile, submit the application, and retain a printed copy. - HEC Aptitude Test (HAT):
HEC may conduct the HAT for shortlisted candidates. A minimum of 50% marks is required for consideration. - Nominating Agency Requirements:
Only applications submitted via the HEC portal and nominated by HEC will be processed. - Incomplete Applications:
Applications with missing information/documents will not be considered. - Expense Coverage:
HEC does not guarantee expenses for submission, testing, or interviews. - Deadline:
Submit applications by January 15, 2025, at 16:00 PST.

- HEC reserves the right to cancel or withdraw nominations at any stage.
HEC Aptitude Test (HAT)
The HAT for scholarship applicants is tentatively planned for mid-February 2025. Information will be available at https://etc.hec.gov.pk.
