Career Opportunity: Senior Management / Leadership Positions at Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC)

About SSGC: SSGC is a reputable public sector entity specializing in the transmission and distribution of natural gas across Balochistan and Sindh provinces. It also operates the country’s only gas Meter Manufacturing Plant.

Positions Available:

1. Regional Manager / General Manager (Gas Distribution) Balochistan
   • Qualification and Experience: Engineering Graduate, preferably Mechanical Engineer, with a minimum of 14 years of post-qualification experience, including 4 years in a senior management/leadership role. Service in the armed forces at Colonel rank or above is an added advantage.
2. General Manager (Meter Manufacturing Plant)
   • Qualification and Experience: Engineering Graduate with at least 14 years of relevant experience, including experience in manufacturing or engineering concern.
3. General Manager (Corporate Communication)
   • Qualification and Experience: Masters degree with a minimum of 14 years of experience, including 4 years in a leadership role. Experience in electronic/print media is preferred.

Job Summary:

• Regional Manager / General Manager (Gas Distribution) Balochistan: Responsible for leading and ensuring profitable operations of the distribution region. Provides strategic direction for maintaining optimum system availability and effectiveness. Manages front-line business operations and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
• General Manager (Meter Manufacturing Plant): Leads the Meter Manufacturing Plant with complete management of production, quality, and supply chain. Manages the portfolio as a profit generation unit for the organization.
• General Manager (Corporate Communication): Provides strategic guidance for internal and external communication. Manages media campaigns, marketing, and collateral to effectively communicate the company’s message. Also coordinates Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

Additional Information:

• Initial three years’ contract, renewable based on Company’s requirement and individual’s performance.
