Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) Seeks Manager for Craft & Enterprise Development in Sukkur
The Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO), an organization dedicated to empowering communities and transforming lives in rural Sindh, has announced a significant career opportunity for a qualified and dynamic professional to lead its Craft & Enterprise Development initiatives. SRSO is seeking a Manager Craft & Enterprise Development to join their team at the Head Office in Sukkur.
This full-time position is offered on a one-year contract, which is extendable based on performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, establishing market linkages, building capacity, and leading effective team management in collaboration with artisans and Business Development Groups (BDGs).
Core Responsibilities of the Manager (CED)
The Manager Craft & Enterprise Development will play a pivotal leadership role in designing and executing strategies to promote local crafts and empower rural entrepreneurs. Key responsibilities include:
Leadership: Lead the production, field, and marketing teams for product design and development aligned with current market trends.
Innovation: Facilitate Research & Development (R&D) to innovate craft designs and products.
Capacity Building: Enhance the capabilities of Business Development Groups (BDGs) and field teams through targeted training and workshops.
Market Linkages: Develop and strengthen connections with vendors, brands, and customers to expand market access for local artisans.
E-Commerce Management: Manage and operate SRSO’s official Shopify e-commerce store, overseeing everything from product listings and order processing to customer support.
Marketing & Promotion: Organize exhibitions, events, and promotional activities (e.g., Sartyoon Sang Exhibition) and manage social media platforms for the Sartyoon Sang brand to enhance visibility and sales.
Compliance: Ensure proper documentation, records, and financial compliance in all CED-related processes, including procurement, finance, and audits.
Required Qualifications and Experience
SRSO is seeking a candidate with a strong background in management and enterprise development.
Required Qualification: A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, Textile/Fashion Designing, or a related field.
Experience with Master’s Degree: A minimum of 05 years of relevant experience in craft development, enterprise management, or related sectors, with at least 02 years of experience at a management/supervisory level.
Experience with Bachelor’s Degree: In the case of a Bachelor’s degree in the above-mentioned fields, a minimum of 07 years of relevant experience is required, with at least 03 years in a management/supervisory role.

Hands-on knowledge of craft/product development, research & design, and enterprise development.
Excellent market linkage and networking abilities.

Proficiency in developing strategies, policies, and conducting internal audits.
Outstanding communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
