A Town Manager position is available, posted on July 18, 2025, with an application deadline of July 28, 2025. This role is based at the SRSO Town Offices in Mirpur Khas and Hyderabad.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: A Master’s Degree is required, preferably in Social Science, Development Studies, or Project Management.
Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in a senior management role within a microfinance institution (MFI), rural/urban credit program, or in project management is essential.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Financial Acumen: A strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles, particularly as they apply to MFIs.
Microfinance Expertise: Knowledgeable about the implementation of microfinance institutions, including staff training, program evaluation, and impact studies.
Technical and Soft Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, along with excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. The ability to work collaboratively in a team is also crucial.

Core Responsibilities

Reporting to the Zonal Manager, the Town Manager will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing town-level strategies and operational plans.
Setting and achieving performance targets for both clients and the outstanding loan portfolio.
Conducting frequent site visits to review operations, identify and address gaps, and minimize operational risk.
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Coordinating with zonal staff to resolve operational issues.
Supervising the overall operations of the town and all respective area offices.
Managing financial records, participating in audits, and controlling client retention rates.
Performing any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
