Applications are invited for the following vacant posts in the Special Security Unit (SSU), Sindh Police Karachi.

Positions Available

1. Senior Trainer (Ex Armed Forces)

Number of Posts: 5
Minimum Qualification: Commissioned Officers (Retired from Army, Navy, and Air Force)
Experience: Candidates who have served in SSG or have worked as trainers at any tactical training facility of the armed forces will be given preference.
Remuneration: Rs. 250,000/- (inclusive of all allowances)

2. Instructor (Civilian)

Number of Posts: 5
Minimum Qualification: Graduate (Higher qualification will be given preference)
Experience: Candidates with a background in the fields mentioned in terms and conditions.
Remuneration: Rs. 250,000/- (inclusive of all allowances)

3. Medical Officer

Number of Posts: 3
Minimum Qualification: MBBS and PMDC registration
Experience: 3 years of experience as a medical officer, preference given to experienced and qualified professionals.
Remuneration: Rs. 150,000/- (inclusive of all allowances)

4. Junior Trainer (Ex Armed Forces)

Number of Posts: 12
Minimum Qualification: NCOs & JCOs Trainers (Retired from Army, Navy, and Air Force)
Experience: Candidates who have served in SSG or have worked as trainers at any tactical training facility of the armed forces.
Remuneration: Rs. 150,000/- (inclusive of all allowances)

Terms and Conditions

Preferred Skills: Candidates skilled in Judo Karate, Martial Arts, Taekwondo, Boxing, Driving Skills, Tactics, Weapon Handling, Physical Training, English Language, Etiquettes and Ethics, Leadership and Motivation, Swimming, Bomb Disposal Training, Religious Education, IT, Law, Drill & Discipline.
Contract Tenure: Initial appointment for one year, renewable up to three years based on performance.
Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualifications and extensive experience in respective fields. Senior trainers should have military background and relevant certifications.
Appointment Basis: Based on written test/interview, medical fitness, and verification of character & documents. Candidates involved in criminal cases are ineligible.
Remuneration: Fixed salary, subject to taxes and deductions as per rules. Includes medical reimbursement and compensation benefits.
Performance Assessment: Regular evaluation based on predefined criteria and standards.
Adherence to Conduct: Compliance with the organization’s code of conduct, ethics, and professional standards. Violations may result in disciplinary action.
Termination Notice: Either party may terminate the contract with 30 days’ notice or compensation in lieu. Immediate termination for gross misconduct, law violations, or performance failures.
Confidentiality: Strict confidentiality required for sensitive information and operational details. Breaches lead to termination and legal consequences.
