Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) Announces Job Openings for Senior Law Officer and Law Officer

Open Positions and Eligibility Criteria
The SPSC is seeking to fill the following two positions:
1. Senior Law Officer (BPS-18)
Number of Posts: 01
Quota: Open Merit (Male/Female) – Reserved for Rural domicile.
Age Limit: 25-40 years
Qualification:
A Degree in LL.M/Bar at Law with at least a 2nd Division from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Experience:
Must have at least seven (07) years of experience standing at the Bar.
Must have not less than seven years’ experience as an Advocate of the High Court.
2. Law Officer (BPS-17)
Number of Posts: 01
Quota: Open Merit (Male/Female) – Reserved for Urban domicile.
Age Limit: 25-35 years
Qualification & Experience: Candidates must meet one of the following two criteria:
Option 1: An LL.B. degree with at least a 2nd Division from an HEC-recognized university, combined with at least five (05) years of experience standing at the Bar and as an Advocate of the High Court.
OR
Option 2: A Degree in Law from a reputable Foreign University recognized by the HEC, combined with at least five (05) years of experience standing at the Bar and as an Advocate of the High Court.
How to Apply
The application process is entirely online and must be completed before the deadline.
Pay the Application Fee: Before starting the online application, candidates must generate a PSID through the SPSC website. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- must be paid through any online payment channel using the 1 Bill Invoice/Service option.

Important Instructions and Conditions
Age Relaxation: A general age relaxation is applicable as per the Government of Sindh’s rules (except for Police Service and posts filled through CCE).
Experience Calculation: Experience will be counted from the date of acquiring the minimum required academic qualification.
Government Employees: Candidates already serving in Government or Semi-Government organizations must apply through the proper channel.
Finality of Options: Options chosen at the time of application (e.g., Domicile, Age, Qualification, Examination Centre) shall not be changed at any subsequent stage.
