Sindh Madressatul Islam University is one of the fastest-growing universities in the country. It is a chartered university duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. It is one of the oldest institutions in South Asia, which started as a school in 1885, became a college in 1943, and a university in 2012. Its campus is located in the commercial hub of Karachi, near I.I. Chundrigar Road, and comprises some of the most beautiful colonial-era buildings.
The Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, studied at this institution for about five years from 1887–92. Today, it has state-of-the-art academic facilities as well as highly qualified faculty and offers graduate and undergraduate programs in various disciplines.

- Interested candidates are advised to fill out the application form available at the SMI University website and send the printout of the duly filled-in form along with a Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 2000/- in favor of “SMI University, Karachi” as a processing fee.
- Attach the latest CV, copy of CNIC, two recent passport-size photographs, copies of degrees/certificates, experience documents, and domicile, and send them to the Directorate of Human Resources Management, Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Aiwan-e-Tijarat Road, Karachi-74000 latest by 24th December 2026 through courier or registered post.
- Candidates already in government service should apply through the proper channel. Age relaxation will be granted as per rules.
- Mention the position applied for on the envelope. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms.
