1. Lecturers/Assistant Professors (Reference No: SIMS-02/24)

Programs: Bachelors in Medical Technology and Bachelors in Nursing.

Job Summary: Teaching and providing academic guidance to undergraduate students of Medical Technology and Nursing.

Subjects: Anatomy, Biochemistry, Mathematics, English, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• First Class MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division, or PhD or equivalent degree in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution with not more than one 3rd division in the entire academic career.
• Previous experience of teaching undergraduate students at the university level is preferred.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Expertise in the use of computer and relevant software is essential.

2. Senior Office Assistant (Reference No: SIMS-03/24)

Department: Medical Education

Job Summary: Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office by managing activities that include record-keeping, sorting, and distributing communications promptly, and any other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor or higher degree, preferably in biological-science disciplines, education, or management.
• Proficiency in written English with 4-5 years of experience in a similar position in a university/degree-awarding institution in a comparable or relevant administrative role.
• Accurate typing skills with a minimum speed of 50 wpm.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office, Google Docs, etc.

3. Academic Editor (Reference No: SIMS-04/24)

Department: Office of Graduate Studies

Job Summary: Edit academic manuscripts, dissertations, thesis, and other scholarly works for clarity, coherence, and adherence to university guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s/MPhil/Ph.D. preferred in English, communications, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in academic editing, preferably in a university setting.
• Familiarity with academic publishing processes and standards.
• Proficiency in academic writing styles (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).
• Excellent command of the English language and strong writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Question Bank Officer (Reference No: SIMS-05/24)

Department: Medical Education

Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing and managing educational resources, specifically focusing on developing and maintaining question banks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Medicine, Biological Sciences, or Medical Education from a HEC recognized public or private academic institute or university.
• Four to five years of experience in a similar position, curriculum development, assessment methodologies, or related fields are required.
• Experience in managing question banks or educational resources and Familiarity with educational technology used for question bank management is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
