The Energy Department, Government of Sindh, has announced several new job opportunities within the Electric Inspectorate Hyderabad Region. Applications are invited from eligible candidates who hold a domicile of Sindh province to fill these positions on a merit and quota basis.


Sindh Energy Department Vacancy Details 2026

The following positions are available for candidates meeting the specific educational and experience requirements:

1. Junior Clerk (BPS-11)

  • No. of Vacancies: 08 (Urban=4, Rural=2, Open Merit=2)

  • Age Limit: 18–28 Years

  • Qualification:

    • Graduate (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university.

    • 06 months Certificate Course in MS Office from a recognized Institute (Sindh Board of Technical Education / Trade Testing Service Board).

2. Data Processing Assistant (BPS-12)

  • No. of Vacancies: 01 (Open Merit)

  • Age Limit: 21–28 Years

  • Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT (at least 2nd Division or equivalent CGPA).

    • OR Graduation (at least 2nd Division) with a Diploma in Computer Science / IT.

3. Computer Operator (BPS-12)

  • No. of Vacancies: 02 (Open Merit)

  • Age Limit: 21–28 Years

  • Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT (at least 2nd Division or equivalent CGPA).

    • OR Graduation (at least 2nd Division) with a Diploma in Computer Science / IT.


Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must adhere to the following strict criteria set by the Sindh Government:

  • STS Screening Test: Candidates must have successfully passed the General Screening Test (Graduation Category) conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) with at least 40% marks.

  • Age Relaxation: The upper age limit will be relaxed by 15 years as per the notification issued by the Services, General Administration, and Coordination Department dated 06.03.2025.

  • Quota System: The appointment process will follow the established Urban/Rural and merit-based quota policy of the Government of Sindh.
