Expansion of Rescue 1122 Services on Major Highways/Motorways

Staff Urgently Required for Highway Rescue Operations

The Sindh Flood Emergency Rehabilitation Project (SFERP), funded by the World Bank, is expanding Rescue 1122 services on major highways and motorways. To operationalize 16 newly developed satellite stations, Rescue 1122 requires the following staff for positions at M9, N5, and N55 highways in Sindh Province.

Available Positions at Sindh Emergency Rescue Service 1122

Paramedics/Emergency Medical Technician (PPS-05/04)
- Number of Posts: 200
- Eligibility Criteria:
  - Nursing or Paramedical Degree or Diploma (2nd Division) from a recognized Board, Council, or University.
  - Age: 20-42 years
Driver (PPS-01)
- Number of Posts: 200
- Eligibility Criteria:
  - Middle with LTV/Motor Car License. Preference given to Matriculation and relevant experience.
  - Age: 20-35 years
  - Candidates will obtain LTV license during 6 months of Probation Period if only holding a Motor Car License.

Total Number of Posts: 400

Instructions for Candidates

Place of Posting: Major Highways of Sindh Province (Satellite Stations – M9, N5, N55). These positions are non-transferable.
Physical and Mental Fitness: Candidates should be physically and mentally fit to manage extreme challenging situations such as accidents, trauma emergencies, and various rescue operations.
Training and Selection: A fixed honorarium will be provided during the training period.
Medical Screening: Candidates with physical deformities, weak eyesight, color blindness (for drivers), BMI over 30, or having Hepatitis (B&C), HIV, RPR, or STD are not suitable.

Application Submission

Application Form: Download the form and deposit slip from the PTS website www.pts.org.pk.
Test Fee: Pay the prescribed test fee at any HBL or UBL branch.
Document Submission: Send the filled application form along with the original deposit slip to PTS Headquarters, 3rd Floor, Adeel Plaza, Fazl-e-Haq Road, Blue Area, Islamabad.
Incomplete Applications: Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
Government Employees: Must apply through proper channel.
Preference: In case of a large number of applicants, applications with preferred criteria will be considered.

Selection Process

Written and psychological/aptitude tests will be held at designated centers. Details will be communicated via Roll No. slips downloadable from the PTS website.
Candidates must bring original CNIC and Roll No. slips to the test center.
Candidates who pass the tests will proceed to the next recruitment stages.
At the time of the interview, candidates must present original documents and submit medical reports from designated hospitals.
