Sindh Chief Minister CM Announces 1000 Google Scholarships In a significant move to enhance the Information Technology (IT) capabilities of students in Sindh, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced the allocation of 1,000 Google scholarships for students across 10 public universities in the province.

Details of the MoU
The MoU signed between the Universities & Boards Department and Tech Valley will facilitate the distribution of 1,000 Google Career Certificates scholarships.The participating universities include:
- NED University of Engineering and Technology
- Dawood University of Engineering and Technology
- Sindh Madressatul Islam University
- Allah Bux Soomro University of Art, Jamshoro
- Government College University, Hyderabad
- Sindh Agriculture University
- Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology
- Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University
- Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage
- Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Larkano
Objective of the Initiative
The primary goal of this initiative is to provide students with internationally recognized IT certifications, enabling them to compete on a global level and contribute significantly to Pakistan’s technological advancement. “This initiative aims to provide students with internationally recognized IT certifications, empowering them to compete globally and contribute to the nation’s technological advancement,” concluded a statement from the CM House.
This scholarship program represents a major step forward in the government’s efforts to bridge the digital divide and prepare the next generation of Pakistani students for success in the global digital economy.
