Sindh Education Department Seeks Experts for World Bank-Funded ASPIRE Project

The Reform Support Unit (RSU) of the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for two key individual consultant positions. The RSU has received financing from the World Bank for the Action to Strength Performance for Inclusive and Responsive Education (ASPIRE) project and is seeking to procure consulting services on a contract basis.

This is a premier opportunity for seasoned professionals in the fields of nutrition and educational assessment to contribute their expertise to a high-impact, large-scale education reform project.


Explore Key Consultant Vacancies for ASPIRE Project

The RSU is looking to hire two highly qualified specialists to provide critical technical guidance and support for the ASPIRE project.

1. Well-being and Nutritional Specialist (PPS-09)

  • Qualification:

    • An MBBS from a reputable university is required, along with a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition, Public Health, Dietetics, Food & Nutrition Science, or an equivalent field.

    • A recognized Certification or Diploma in Public Health, Nutrition, Maternal & Child Health, or Food Security is preferable.

  • Experience Required:

    • A minimum of 05 years of experience in professional nutrition programs, including the development of well-being and nutrition plans/policies and implementation plans, preferably in a Development/Humanitarian context.

    • Must have excellent communication and report-writing skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including policymakers, technical experts, and field-level education officials.

2. Assessment Specialist/Consultant (PPS-9)

  • Qualification:

    • A Master’s degree in Education, Educational Measurement, Social Sciences, or related fields.

    • A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline would be preferable.

  • Experience Required:

    • A minimum of 08 years of progressive experience in educational assessment, student testing, or large-scale evaluation systems, preferably with government, UN agencies, or development partners.

    • Must have a demonstrated ability to design and operationalize assessment frameworks, item banks, and implementation plans.

    • Requires proven knowledge of national and international assessment frameworks such as NAT, GPF, TIMSS, or PISA.

    • Must possess excellent communication and report-writing skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
