Sindh’s Reform Support Unit Seeks Database Administrator for World Bank-Funded ASPIRE Project
The Reform Support Unit (RSU) of the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest (EOD) for an individual consultant to serve as a Database Administrator. The position is for the “Action to Strength Performance for Inclusive and Responsive Education (ASPIRE)” project, which has received financing from the World Bank.
The RSU is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to provide consulting services on a contract basis. This is a significant opportunity to contribute to a major education reform project in the province. Qualifications
A University Degree in BS/B.E Computer Science/Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
A Certification in Database management or Data Analytics from OEM centres will be given an additional weightage of 5%.
Experience
A minimum of at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Proven experience with configuring and optimizing databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, along with reporting tools where high availability is required.
Experience in configuring and setting up systems and adapting them to new technologies.
Strong skills in data management, backup procedures, and the integration of databases.
