Our client, the largest salt producer in Pakistan, aims to be the largest salt exporter from Southeast Asia. They are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join their growing operations.
Positions and Requirements
1. Supply Chain Manager
Location: Karachi (Frequent travel to Site, District Mithi, Sindh)
Experience: Minimum 5 years of heading end-to-end supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating site operations for salt production, processing, inventory management, and transportation.
- Ensuring quality and safety.
- Managing dispatches to ports for exports or local clients.
- Overseeing supply chain operations and company procurement.
2. Shift Supervisor Warehouse
Location: Karachi
Experience: Minimum 2 years in managing shift operations at a warehousing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing inventory, logistics, documentation, and product quality.
3. Logistics Supervisor
Location: Karachi
Experience: Minimum 10 years in logistics, third-party transportation, and outsourcing.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing logistics, inventory management, transportation KPIs, fuel management, inventory management, and billing.
- Managing transportation of goods from the site to the warehouse and from the warehouse to ports.
4. Admin Officer Site
Location: Site (District Mithi, Sindh)
Experience: Minimum 5 years as a facility/site administration head.
Responsibilities:
- Site administration, facility management, security, local and government relations, and manpower management.
5. Technical Manager
Location: Karachi (Frequent travel to Site, District Mithi, Sindh)
Experience: Minimum 5 years of heading a technical department at a salt processing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing technical operations of salt extraction and processing.
- Ensuring quality compliance at the site and warehouse.
- Establishing technical and quality control protocols, conducting inspections, audits, and tests.
6. Quality Officers (Site/Warehouse)
Location:
- One position at Site (District Mithi, Sindh)
- One position at Warehouse, Karachi
Experience: Minimum 2 years in the quality department at a processing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring product and process quality, following quality control protocols, conducting inspections, audits, and tests.
- Ensuring safety at the location.
7. Exports & Local Sales Manager
Location: Karachi
Experience: Minimum 7 years in bulk commodities and salt exports.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a sales team.
- Dealing with buyers, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region and other geographic areas.
8. Export Officers (Sales)
Location: Karachi
Experience: Minimum 2 years in commodities or salt exports.
Responsibilities:
- Attracting and generating bulk sales orders from international clients.
- Experience in attending international trade shows is an added advantage.
9. Business Analyst
Location: Karachi
Qualification: Business Graduate
Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Financial/Business Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Outstanding financial modeling skills.
- Understanding of commodities export models.
10. Process Engineering Manager
Location: Karachi
Qualification: B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from a PEC-recognized institute or M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry.
Experience: At least 5 years in handling salt chemistry, with experience in processing/manufacturing facilities as an added advantage.
