Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) Launches Major Recruitment Drive for Information Security Specialists

 The Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA), a key entity of the Government of Punjab, has announced a significant hiring initiative for experienced IT and Information Security specialists. The Authority is seeking to fill multiple high-stakes positions at its Lahore headquarters on a contract basis.

These roles are being offered for an initial period of three years, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance. This recruitment drive underscores PLRA’s commitment to strengthening its digital infrastructure and safeguarding its critical land records data. Now Hiring: Deputy Director Level Positions (PPG-7)

PLRA is seeking four highly experienced professionals for its Deputy Director roles. These senior positions come with a competitive salary package ranging from PKR 241,500 to PKR 400,000, which includes a performance-based Technical Expert Incentive Allowance.

Common Requirements for all Deputy Director Positions:

  • Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Cyber Security from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Experience: At least 05 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant domain within large-scale national or international organizations.

  • Age Bracket: 25-40 years.

Specific Vacancies:

1. Deputy Director (Governance, Risk & Compliance)

  • Specialized Experience: Expertise in Information Security Governance, Risk Management, and Security Compliance Auditing.

  • Certifications: Must hold a valid CISA, CISM, CRISC, or ISO27001-LI/LA certification. Preference will be given to candidates with CISA.

2. Deputy Director (Offensive Security)

  • Specialized Experience: Expertise in Vulnerability Management, Offensive Security, Red Teaming, and Penetration Testing.

  • Certifications: Requires a valid OSCP, LPT, CPET, or C|EH certification. Strong preference will be given to candidates holding OSCP or LPT.

3. Deputy Director (Security Operations Center/L3 Analyst)

  • Specialized Experience: Proven experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) role, including incident response, threat hunting, and malware research. Candidates must have been working as an L3/L2 SOC analyst for at least three years. Note: Experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) will not be considered as SOC experience.

  • Certifications: Must possess a valid CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CASP+ certification.

4. Deputy Director (Security Architect & Administration)

  • Specialized Experience: Expertise in designing or managing security for large-scale IT environments, including Inside Threat Management, Security Solutions Architecture, and Backup & Disaster Recovery solutions.

  • Certifications: Requires a valid certification from an internationally recognized authority, such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Veeam Certified Engineer, or Azure Administrator Associate.


Join the Team: Assistant Director Level Positions (PPG-6)

Six positions are open at the Assistant Director level, offering a salary package of PKR 149,500 to PKR 350,000, inclusive of a performance-based incentive allowance. These roles are ideal for professionals looking to advance their careers in specialized information security fields.

Common Requirements for all Assistant Director Positions:

  • Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Cyber Security from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Experience: At least 03 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant cyber/information security field.

  • Age Bracket: 24-34 years.

Specific Vacancies:

1. Assistant Director (Governance, Risk & Compliance)

  • Certifications: Must hold a CISA, CRISC, or ISO27001-LI/LA certification, with preference for CISA holders.

2. Assistant Director (Penetration Testing & Red Teaming)

  • Certifications: Requires a valid CEH, OSCP, LPT, or PenTest+ certification. Preference will be given to those with OSCP.

3. Assistant Director (Application Security)

  • Certifications: Must hold a valid CEH, OSCP, LPT, RTO, or PenTest+ certification, with a preference for OSCP holders.

4. Assistant Director (Security Operations Center/L2 Analyst)

  • Specialized Experience: Experience in a SOC role is mandatory. NOC experience is not applicable.

  • Certifications: Requires a valid Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CSA, CHFI, SIEM (Splunk, LogRhythm, QRadar), or similar SOC-supported certification.

5. Assistant Director (Digital Forensic & Incident Response)

  • Specialized Experience: Expertise in Cyber Security, Information Security, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Digital Forensics, and Malware Research.

  • Certifications: Must possess a valid CHFI, eCDFP, CySA+, or SSCP certification.

6. Assistant Director (Infrastructure Administrator)

  • Specialized Experience: Experience as an Infrastructure Administrator, Solutions Architect, or a similar role with strong knowledge of network and system architecture.

  • Certifications: Requires a valid Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Network Engineer, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, CCNP Security, or CCIE Security certification.
